Treasury Department TIPSS-3 BPA

FuGEN is currently a subcontractor on the Treasury Department Total Information Processing Support System – 3 (TIPSS-3) Blanket Purchase Agreement awarded to IBM in 2005. FuGEN has been providing our technical expertise and consulting services to the Treasury, IRS and other Treasury Bureaus continually since the original TIPSS contract was awarded in 1994. The TIPSS-3 contract covers three principle task areas:

System Security Services (SSS) - Enhancement of IT security of data residing in computer files or during transmission, assessing IT risk relating to privacy, fraud and abuse, and the adequacy of internal controls to eliminate and/or mitigate risks to systems being built.  Development of contingency plans to cover system failures and recovery procedures; evaluation and implementation of encryption; authentication of system users; digital signatures to ensure integrity of critical systems; the conduct of risk analysis; development of recommendations and implementations; and plans for new procedures and changes to existing systems.  In addition, this Principle Task Area provides support for the Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12).

Information System Services (ISS) - Traditional automated data processing (ADP) or IT support services, including all aspects of software development, training, and quality assurance support services.
